Brian is a pinhole photographer and printmaker based in Cork City, he is a full time member of Cork Printmakers.

The pieces currently on display in the gallery are from his first collection of pinhole photographs entitled Cuba Obscura. The photographs were taken in Cuba between 2006 and 2007 and are printed as limited edition fine art prints using the Photo Itaglio Etching. This intricate process involves a copper plate being coated in a light sensitive film. An enlarged positive is then exposed to this in a UV light box. After development the plate is inked and printed as a traditional etching would be. The result is a haunting, beautiful and exclusive artwork.
