Brigid Shelly is a graduate of St Mary's University, Middlesex(BA) and of Trinity College, Dublin(MA) From 1994 to 2003 she painted under the watchful and talented eye of Desmond Turner RUA and is fast becoming known as one of the leading agricultural painters in the country.

Her work is included in many private and public collections in Ireland, including Department of Agriculture, Cork Marts, Teagasc, Dairygold & Glanbia, as well as international collections
