Originally from Scotland, Lesley studied in Edinburgh College of Art where she gained a degree with first class honours and post graduate diploma in the tapestry department. She now creates one off textile wall pieces fusing traditional craft based techniques with contemporary materials. She knits and crochets with wire, uses stitch, appliqué and embroidery with paper metal and plastic. The ritual setting of the table is a current theme she is exploring.
